Community Service and Volunteering
Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals offers a variety of volunteer and community service opportunities for court, education, and community activity. Click the button below find out more. Please note that standard volunteering, school Community Service, and court Community Service are not interchangeable. Also, you will need your own transportation (drop-offs and pick-ups are not allowed). Visitors under 16 years of age will need a parent or legal guardian with them at all times, and a liability waiver will need to be signed before any volunteering or community service is possible.
Donations
Our shelter does not receive any federal, state or county funding; and no funding from the Humane Society of the United States, or ASPCA. We rely solely on donations, grants, bequests and fundraising events to further our mission of Saving and Changing Lives.

Memorial Donations
A very special way to remember someone's loss of a person or pet, or just to honor someone, is to make a donation to Lone Star in their memory or honor. Please complete this form and return it to us. Lone Star will mail an acknowledgment to the appropriate person and mail a receipt to the donor.
