Community Service and Volunteering
Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals offers a variety of volunteer and community service opportunities for court, education, and community activity. Click below find out more. Please note that standard volunteering, school Community Service, and court Community Service are not interchangeable. Also, you will need your own transportation (drop-offs and pick-ups are not allowed). It’s a requirement for all visitors under 16 years of age to have a parent or legal guardian while on the property and sign a liability waiver before entry, volunteering, or acceptance of community service.
Our shelter does not receive any federal, state or county funding; and no funding from the Humane Society of the United States, or ASPCA.
